Great Northern Insulation

This was a new construction. Great Northern Insulation came in to install Spray foam for the crawl space, main floor and second floor as well as the garage. Some of the flat attic areas were supplemented with blown in fiberglass. The most impressive part was the cathedral ceiling spray foam. Everything was arranged and inspected by my great builder at every stage. Overall the job was very professionally done. For this new home we invested heavily on two of the most important areas; heating and insulation. We have in-floor heating throughout the main floor and back up with a traditional high efficiency furnace as well as a heat pump for summer air conditioning. We expect this home to have superior thermal qualities for all seasons. We hope to minimize two things; 1. Heat loss in the winter. 2. Excess heat from the sun in the summer.
I cannot wait to test it all out when the home is completed in the fall.
