Verdun Windows And Doors

I signed a contract of 33 windows and 1 patio door on October 5, 2018 with Verdun Windows and Doors, and paid a deposit of $6,850 on October 11, 2018. As per contract, the company should supply and install all the windows and patio door within 22-24 weeks following the contract date.

Now, more than 26 weeks has been passed, the company has not completely supplied and installed the windows. There are still two windows to be installed and a patio door not ready for installation. Windows installed on the third level of my house are missing screens, which should have been supplied and installed as per contract. For the patio door, the company even told me that I have to wait until May 2019 for the installation.

One of Sales of the company, who has written the contract, made one bedroom’s only window as fixed by mistakes, which should be operable. In the draft contract which I still have a copy, the bedroom window is operable, but I was not aware that it was changed to a fixed window in the final contract.

I sent my concerns to the company. They had Max responded quickly and proposed a solution, which I am quite happy about. I am waiting for their solution carrying out.
