We have 3 skylights in our home. The 2 in the kitchen had window shades on them to protect us from the heat. The blinds were deteriorating. The centre hall window didn't and that resulted in our upstairs being very warm. We decided to replace all 3 skylights with blinds as well. Denis promised us a date--and kept to it--the crew was pleasant cleaned up after the job. Best of all I think that the centre hall solar blind is doing the trick!!

Skylights Unlimited replaced two old large skylight windows and re-shingled my roof. Very professional and courteous service, competitive pricing, and the final installation and roof work looks superb. I'm very pleased.

I was looking for a skylight for a while, because of the dark staircase, and did some research online - homestars.com among the resources - and came across skylights unlimited's profile. I made my short list and asked for quote. Their quote was not the lowest, but also not the highest, but I was impressed by Denis in person, and felt comfortable to hand the project to someone in this business for a long time, and most importantly, specailize in skylights.

I was not disappointed. The crew did a great job, Goran and Ed showed their professnal in treating details, the other gentleman was also hardworking. The project was done in 2 days and the end result is stunning.

I wouldn't hasitate to recommand them to anyone who are interested in installing a skylight.

Dennis was very informative and a pleasure to deal with. Once I was able to schedule the work it was done promptly and the company was flexible with payment arrangements so I didn't have to be at the house when the work was completed to pay the rest of the amount owing.

We hired Skylights Unlimited to install a new skylight in our attic bedroom. We are very happy with the results -- the room is so much brighter and more open! We are also very impressed with Denis' patience with our questions during the quotation period and during the installation.

During our installation a carpenter ant colony was found in our roof. Goran and Ed helped clean up the ants and installed the skylight to protect from the rain. They then stopped the installation to allow us time to call an exterminator to treat the ants. We were impressed with how they handled the situation and their availability to finish the project as soon as we had the ants under control. Goran and Ed even installed a pot light for us (which was not a part of the contract) and offered some roofing tips.

In summary we are very happy with our experience with Skylights Unlimited and would fully recommend their services.

They showed up on time for both quote and job - were extremely responsive during the quotation process with recommendations and revisions. The job was done quickly (4 days) and every effort was made to make it painless for us - living room draped, walkways and driveway cleaned each night, complete clean-up at the end. The two installers were pleasant to deal with and thorough - we were able to see the different stages of the process and the amount of work that went into framing the large opening. Final outcome - the skylights are wonderful. Would have no hesitation recommending this company.

Skylights Unlimited did a fantastic job on our skylights. Denis was prompt in setting up a detailed estimate, and made a great suggestion for our small bathroom - including creating a cathedral ceiling, and shelf into the attic space, which we decided to go with (though no pressure to do so). Everything was handled very professionally and accomodating to our circumstances. The installers' work was methodical, and you could really tell they cared about the work. They walked us through step-by-step as they completed the work, which turned out fantastic. They also had great insights and suggestions along the way. Work was done ahead of schedule, the clean-up was great and there were no surprises in the final bill! The skylights look amazing and overall it was a fanstastic experience - and highly recommended!
