An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
We had a leaky skylight and knew it had to be replaced eventually. We researched several different companies and found a wide range of prices which was a bit unsettling. Finally we decided on Skylights Unlimited and we are glad we did. They were well-priced and when we had additional questions, they responded to our concerns right away.
They said it would take three weeks before someone could come in but about 10 days later they came and did the job in 4 hours. The guys even went an extra mile and advised us on how to fix a rain-gutter issue by drawing a picture for us. We're happy with the results and with the recent downpour we have not noticed any leaking at all, we just hope it lasts for at least 10 years. Thanks for a job well done!
