Great roofer, knows shingle and flat roof installation well. Flashing perfect. Site cleanup perfect (nail-free). Roofs have proven durable (over 10 years in one case), survived heavy winds rains, no leaks. Good bet for quality roof!

We live in a semi-detached house with a sloped roof in the front and a flat roof in the back. We hired them to replace the sloped roof, which included removal of the original 100 year-old cedar shingles and 2 or 3 other layers of shingles. They were professional and easy to work with (and boy did they work hard)! They also did an excellent job of cleaning up.

This is the second time I've had J. Stewart Roofing do my roof and I've been pleased with the workmanship both times. They are pleasant to work with and will show up promptly for emergency repairs. The clean up was well done also.

They gave me a quote in the late fall for a new roof, did two small repairs through the winter then came this spring for the full repair. Great company, incredibly responsive, highly recommend.

John took photos before, during and after the work, which helped as much of our roof is not visible from ground level, and thoroughly explained what would be done. I just had my entire roof redone by J. Stewart roofing and I am 100% satisfied. I also had them remove an unused chimney up to the roofline and reframe over it. Throughout the whole process from initial quote (more than 2 years ago, revised quote, work scheduling, final inspection), John made sure I was happy and answered all my questions.

Throughout the installation, they made sure to keep the area clean (including my neighbors properties) and picked up everything at the end of each workday. They also adapted to challenges encountered during the installation and didn’t try to charge me extra. A day after the installation was completed, John came to the house to perform a final inspection and ensure everything was done properly.
