John and his team did a great job replacing our old roof last fall. There were actually two types of roofs to replace - one was flat with a skylight and the other was a steep shingle with lots of valleys and angles - certainly not a straightforward job. John impressed us firstly by climbing up on the roof on a very hot day and taking photos of the old roof so we were able to see the extent of the wear and tear on our existing roof and why we needed a new one. He recommended a particular brand of shingle and helped us choose a colour. While John's quote was not the cheapest or the dearest of the 5 quotes we obtained, we felt very confident he would do a professional job on this challenging roof replacement as his quote was thorough and detailed. John's team were quiet and personable and did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day. John provided photos every couple of days of the progress of the roof replacement. We also were very thankful that John was able to finish the job by our deadline (we were going away). I have recommended John to a couple of friends and would be happy to do so again.
