Floor Retailers review in Calgary

Very happy with the work completed. Maguire's designers were professional, knowledgeable. The installers were very careful in our home and respectful. Major update to our Varsity Estates home. Thank you Maguire's staff and will be back for our window coverings.

Kitchen flooring renovation

We had a significant retiling job done to our kitchen. It was a communication nightmare. They never, ever returned calls. They did not understand what our requirements were and had to completely retart the work from scratch, after we insisted on speaking to the owner (Mr Maguire) on-site, with threats just short of legal action. Even worse, they would go behind each others' backs in telling us how others in the company are incompetent. It was sad.

The final job was satisfactory, but the pain involved was awful and I would never recommend Maguire's to anyone, even if I disliked them strongly.

Company Response: Mr. Fillipo A, Your job was installed back in June of 2008, and your review posted in September of 2010, well after your situation was resolved.
Maguire's having to replace the floor a second time due to another miscommunication which we feel was not our fault, as you verbally agreed with Mr. Dave B (21 years experience with our company) to run the tile parallel to the hardwood. After install you had made the decision that you did not like the look you had chosen.
To read your review is facetious and inaccurate. At the end of the day, what is important to our organization is knowing that we did not walk away from a client we would not wish upon our competition, however we completed the work with integrity although at tremendous costs absorbed by our company in order to resolve the situation, which was very important to us.

I had my entire kitchen re-done- everything was FANTASTIC. There showroom is beautiful, there interior designers are brialliant and the service outstanding. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I would highly reccomend this company. From start to finish everything was perfect. Great Job!
