We employed Kre Art to design our new kitchen and manage our renovation. This was a major kitchen re design and involved the removal of a wall as in order to have a larger kitchen we needed to merge with the separate dining room. Livius design made the best use of space, we found him very accommodating and were happy tu use his company even though it was not the cheapest quote. When it was time for teardown and installation the contractors were on time, friendly and skilled. We were barely inconvenienced. Now six months on, we have had no problems at all, the original design is spectacular and the build quality of the cabinets cannot be faulted. Absolutely no complaints, I would be very happy to recommend to family or friends.
Graham, thank you for your wonderful review. We at Kre-Art are very happy when the customers are satisfied with our work. We allays try to improve our services and customer satisfaction goes a long way.
We would highly recommend the services of Kre-Art kitchens and baths. From the outset, Liviu was professional, helpful, and willing to work with us to determine our needs and how best to meet them. He provided various design and material options to give us the kitchen we wanted within our budget.
Kre-Art’s construction team worked to keep to their projected timelines and get the job done with minimum disruption. Any issues that arose during the renovation were quickly resolved, entirely to our satisfaction.
We are thrilled with our new kitchen – it is beautiful and functional and a vast improvement over what was there before. We would never hesitate to recommend Liviu and Kre-Art to anyone renovating a kitchen.
K and V G
A while back we had our kitchen redone by Kre-Art and I felt that a brief review might help others thinking about updating their kitchens. I would not recommend the firm for a number or reasons. For example:
-new tiles were installed on the top of exisitng tiles leaving a big drop into other adjoining rooms. The tile extend to the front entance and there is little clearance for an entrance carpet.
-the over the stove microwave was improperly installed so that it vented back into the kitchen. Their fix was to caulk all around the microwave to stop the exhaust from venting back into the house rather then fixing the connection to the outdoor vent. We had an expert come in later who said in all his career he had never seen this done before.
-there wa insufficient space(practically zero) between the stove and the countertops resuting in the cabinet plastic coating melting when the oven clean feature was used. GE responded to our complaint and said that it was not their problem as the stove was not installed to specification. The stove was not an after-thought, we had selected it as part of our planning project .
-minor changes we requested were hotly debated. For example we requested a third hinge on our wood bathroom door thet were installing and we had to argue strongly to get them to do this.\
Most troubling was the way the owner of the firm sided with his workers no matter what mistake was made, even as in the case of the microwave
installation. I can only assume that he had very little construction experience.
On the positive side the kitchen design other than the stove/cabinet spacing, was well done
Bottom line; I could not, in good faith recommend this firm to friends, neighbors, or family.
