Having taken three quotes, I was impressed with O'Reilly Bros right from the get go. The salesman, Chris, appeared more knowledgeable and thorough than the reps from the other two companies. We already had Cellulose Fibre insulation and Chris explained why blowing more of the same would be better than adding fibreglass, for example. He also was the only one to propose replacing the existing bathroom fan air ducts with insulated flexpipe in order to reduce condensation. We had also asked that existing insulation be pulled back from soffits and new soffit baffles be installed.

The crew showed up on time and finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. I took a look into our attic before they left and to my inexperienced eyes, the work appeared to have been done and done well. I paid by credit card over the phone the same day.

What really pushes this company over the top for me was actually what happened next. The day following the work, I noticed that one of the bathroom fans was not sucking air. I gave Chris a call and explained the problem. Without being defensive at all he simply stated that he would arrange for a different crew to come out and take a look at the problem. They came when he said they would and immediately identified the problem, inadvertently caused by the previous team, and fixed it.

Keep in mind here that I had already paid for the work in full.

Any company which does great work and then stands behind that work is well deserving of a 10/10 rating.

We live in an old farmhouse in Embrun and this Winter has been brutal in terms of temperature and home heating expenses. We finally decided to have the old basement insulated with spray foam, the attic and pony walls upstairs redone. All this to say that for the last three days a company was here doing all this work. They renewed our faith in decency and professionalism. We tip our hats to O'Reilly Brothers LTD of Ottawa. Two crews (4 men) did the job, and we couldn't have asked for better. Such precautions were taken to ensure the mess (it is a messy job) was minimized. When they left, you could hardly tell they had been there. Thank you O'Reilly Brothers and staff, we will undoubtedly recommend you to our friends.

We just had our attic insulation brought up to an R50 rating; as well as, having baffles installed in the attic. They also removed an old dryer vent that had been installed by a previous contractor and replaced it with an insulated exhaust pipe. The crew arrived right on time (actually they were 1/2 hour early), they were very professional and through in setting up their equipment, they were polite and knowledgable and after they left there was not even a sign that they had worked in our house. They vacuumed the whole area and even dusted our shelving unit in the front entrance!! We were extremely pleased with O'Reilly Brothers and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Had insulation blown into the attic. Straight-forward job I believe. Gentleman that came in for the estimate came very quickly, extremely friendly as well. The tech's that came in came at the scheduled time, completed the work in a timely manner. I was extremely impressed at how tidy they were. They took their time with prep and sealing off areas with tarp/painter's tape to prevent insulation/dirt/dust from flying around. While leaving, the tech's VACUUMED his way out, and down the stairs!!! My wife and I were floored at their cleanliness and how well they cleaned up after (they actually left the house cleaner than it was before they got there).

Greatly appreciated, house is MUCH warmer, and so far, no ice-dams in the attic!

We had to have renovation work done to garage area in order to facilitate movement and interchange of products. Our garage was built in the early 80s and we needed to be sure it was a safe and efficient environment. O'Reilly Brothers did checks for asbestos and provided spray foam where necessary.

Work was completed on-time and on-budget. They were as good as their word and the 3 men who delivered the service were professional and amicable.

Would definitely use their services again.

Office staff and estimator were very professional, the workers were not.
They were paid to remove my basement ceiling drywall and the paper asbestos which was covering 7 duct work lines.
The estimator promised he would set up a negative presure system. while the foreman who showed up scoffed and said "yah, he will promise just about anything". I insisted and he returned with the required equipment starting the job 2 hours late. After clean up was finished, and the workers had all left I noticed 4 pieces of asbestos that they had failed to be removed. The workers did came back when called to remove the remaining asbestos, but fewer precautions were taken this time with no plastic walls or vacume system used.

Found this company on the internet, Estimate was very professional, all our questions were answered and our concerns about Asbestos removal professionally handled. We found the crew knowledgeable and caring bout our home. We recommend O'Reilly Brothers without hesitation.

This company arrived at the appointed time, did the work as promised and finished on time. The staff were clean, placed plastic from the door to the area they were working in and sealed it all the way as well as sealed up doorways, etc. to keep any dust to a minimum. Actually, there was no clean-up on my part required at all. I found the staff to be very pleasant and courteous. I would highly recommend them at any time.
