This is an update to the review we wrote on May 24th, 2012. The work has been completed today by Marcos and his team and we are very very satisfied with the end results, it looks fantastic. We did have some communications problems in the beginning and they were resolved.
Front walkway and step
We have contracted Sureloc to do a walkway. We agreed to a deposit and balance of payment when work was completed, a verbal agreement with their Sales Rep. The arrived without notice to excavate, we were on our way out to meet friends for the day in the U.S... we had to cancel. Five minutes later a gal was at our door for payment for excavation, we told her we would pay on completion. She was adamant that we pay now, and told us if we did not pay Sureloc for the excavation now they would not come back to finish the job. Another comment by this person was that we were calling her company thieves, just because we had an incident with a previous contractor, we should not put her company in the same position. We called head office and they said it will be another week before they come back as the stone has to settle. We dealt with a Sales Rep. by the name of Doug who was very good and we do anticipate this job being completed but will have to wait until next week to see if it gets done. Not a good first impression. However I will make a positive review when the job is completed to our satisfaction.
