5 years old Sundail house

I've bought a 5 years old Sundail house in Milton and after trying to maintain it for 3 months I have to say: this garbage is not build to last and after 10 years these houses will be full of mold and fungi, and after 20 full of carpenters ants. The design, choice of materials and workmanship are horrible. Whatever you do, do not buy these homes.
The foundation walls and the basement floor are all cracked. They probably used the lowest quality concrete, didn't prepare the ground properly, poured concrete in a freezing cold temperature, or something. I am sure it is possible to build a foundation without cracks even on the clay ground, but they didn't bother. Mass production, dollar store quality. Yesterday was a rain storm and I had 5 leaks in the basement: 3 through the foundation cracks, one around the perimeter of the basement window, and one from the hole where hydro cable is coming into the house. The facade masonry work is terrible too. Water infiltrates between the bricks (through gaps intended for ventilation, or through cracks) and leaks inside the walls, onto the foundation walls and then inside the basement.
Which brainless architect decided to use wooden boards and plywood on the exterior of the house? Every their house has either ugly plywood boxes sticking out of a wall, or boards around windows and under the edge of the roof, or all of the above. They are not even painted properly with a primer and a good paint. In my neighborhood every single house has these parts with a piling off paint and wood is starting to rot.
Garage door didn't close today after it's got swollen from the rain. Why? It's wooden and painted without primer and with a cheap paint, and only on one side. And it's already starting to rot on the bottom. Cheap! Why not to use plastic garage doors, like everybody in Quebec.
This company is taking its clients for the ride. Don't buy their houses,

Approximate cost of services:
$0.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
Better workmanship. To conduct quality inspections. To use better materials. To change architectural designs.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Do not buy Sundial built homes, they are not build to last. If you've bought, do proper landscaping to divert water from the foundation. Paint regularly exterior wooden parts with a good primer and proper paint, or reface it with aluminum or plastic. Fix cracks in masonry work with caulking: water infiltrates and leaks inside walls.
