Brand new dishwasher from Sears didn't work from day 1 after install. Unfortunately, the machine sat in a box beyond the 30 day return policy so had to go through the 'Service' department. The fact of the matter is, we encountered just the opposite. The second maintenance visit discovered that the incorrect part had been ordered, then there was a lack of communication from Sears regarding the next service call, and complete refusal of return or exchange. On top of everything, I wasn't allowed to pick up the part and install it myself, and we had to wait for another service call to deem the machine non-repairable. The machine has been installed and useless for 2 weeks now, with an expected service call in another 5 days. Overall, the service reps were pleasant but non helpful, and a very disappointing experience.
