I originally got a very detailed and prompt quote from an agent who no longer works for the company. The installation was long and we had told the agent that our basement was getting renovated, but the installer put all the wires under the joists. Then we had to have them come back two weeks later to do it properly and they sent me another bill for $130. After I called and complained they reduced it to $75, but I don't think I should have had to pay anything.
Then the contacts started falling off, one of which fell off at 6am and set off our alarm. We felt uncomfortable setting our alarm after that, afraid it would set off accidently.
After speaking to someone at Safetech, they sent the installer back out, this time for free, to properly screw in the contacts (they were originally put on with double-sided tape!). They gave us a free month for this issue, because we had been unable to set it.
Since then, we haven't had any problem and I like to be able to set it at night and when we leave the house.
