Delays, delays and more delays

Development that was supposed to take 18 months (closing date set Fall of 2016) since the contract signing is now 36 months into development and is still far from being completed. The closing date has been changed 5 times and is now set as Fall of 2018 (24 months AFTER the initial 18 months. 42 months total). Being fed up with this, the builder allows reassignment to another buyer.. for $50,000!
This is insanity!
