Our very old house needed all of the knob and tube wiring replaced. After getting quotes from others at twice the price, I looked on the reviews here and decided to contact Kiya Electric. Mr. Kiya Daliri provided many good references, had done similar work in my neighbourhood (same type of house) and told me exactly what they would be doing and how much it would cost. If there were other extras to do, the additional costs were reasonable and were explained to me ahead of time. No walls or ceilings had to come down, which was a great relief. They started on time and worked away until the job was done. I cannot even begin to list what they did – they practically replaced everything: new wiring, new panels, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, new plugs, some additional lighting fixtures. I had to declutter the house while they were working and they worked around it. What could have been a nightmare situation in the end became totally manageable, thanks to the patience of Mr. Kiya Daliri and his team. They patched up everything when they left and now everything is up to code. Mr. Daliri is a very conscientious, hard-working individual who knows what he is doing, and he and his team did a wonderful job. (I still use the contractor he recommended for non-electrical repairs.) I cannot recommend Kiya Electric enough.
