Lloyd came to provide a service check of our furnace…he was fantastic! he was pleasant, worked diligently and gave our furnace and hot water rads the most thorough check and service that we have ever had. We will definitely keep going back to Hoerner for this service and we will definitely ask for Lloyd!!

Had an issue with the plumbing for our bathroom sink and decided to replace all the taps, drain, and faucet. Nathaniel was prompt for the appointment, polite and provided a clear explanation of what was required and the expected cost. He completed the work promptly and completely to my satisfaction.

The seal in the toilet was gone and Claire replaced it. She was helpful and explained my options and helped me choose the right one for me. The service was very quick too.

We bought a new house but it did not have a gas line to the stove area. We bought a gas stove for a deal on Kijiji, and it sat in the family room while we awaited getting a gas hookup. I identified a local independent plumber/gasfitter with good reviews here and elsewhere, and he came by to assess, and subsequently sent me an estimate. I confirmed the project with him, whence he said he would come by the following week. Two weeks went by and he never showed up, called, texted, nothing.

I found Hoerner with a similar search, and they booked me for a visit that week. I told the woman in the office that I was available for cancellation squeeze-in since I work from home. That worked out well, as they called last-minute to come the day before. Clare was friendly and knowledgeable and went around the house identifying the other gas appliances and calculating their load on the gas supply. I had the estimate in my email within minutes of her leaving. I called to book the job, and was fortunate, as they used what was originally my estimate timeslot to come back the next day and do the work.

We are delighted with our new stove. When Clare was here I was working in the basement, and actually thought she had left when I heard her footsteps in the family room. I came upstairs to find her laying on the floor in front of the gas fireplace - which we had never figured out how to operate. She lit the pilot light for us and showed us how to control it with the thermostat. I had not even asked her for this favour and was very pleased for her help and impressed with her initiative.

Needed sink and dishwasher plumbing installed. These guys were professional, knowledgeable and worked fast. When they didn't have a part onsite, it was procured quickly and finished the job in a timely manner. They cleaned the area upon completion and treated my house respectfully. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work.

My shower has been running too hot and the temp couldn’t be adjusted. It requires a new part that has been ordered. Meanwhile, the technician was able to get the shower temporarily running with an adjustable temperature. Bonus!

I had what seemed to be a slow leak around the base or under the toilet. Hoerner sent out a team the same day, and they were able to tell me that the source of the problem was so minor that they could not find it without removing the toilet, and so I could safely wait, and continue to use the bathroom, until a scheduled uninstallation in 2 weeks when new bathroom flooring is to be installed. / I have used Hoerner for plumbing for more than 12 years now, as I have a 90-year-old house and Hoerner is especially good with older houses and their plumbing eccentricities. Also they are always efficient and reliable, and do excellent work.

The installers arrived right on time. They encountered a couple of issues with the toilet (including one missing part) and therefore the job ended up taking about an hour and a half longer than expected, but they finished it professionally, and it's working perfectly. Within a couple of days they came back to install the "missing" part. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Hoerner. We have used them several times in the past few years and have never had any problems with them at all.

The previous owner of our house had installed a washer in the upstairs bathroom. We removed it, but were left with two awkward laundry taps in the middle of the shower. Nathaniel from Hoerner showed up on time and performed precise work to remove and cap them. Throughout the process, he was courteous, efficient, and explained the work fully. I have been very happy with Hoerner's work now for over ten years and at two separate houses.
