We are now 2 years into the process. Delay after Delay. Our home has yet to be started being built not that this has stopped the builder from putting up 2 inventory homes in the meantime. The customer service is deplorable! They are so rude and nasty to deal with. You haven't encountered rudeness until you have dealt with this team. And just wait until you want to make a change to the home - thats when you'll really understand how much your Fernbrook home is costing you. The average person in our subdivision has had to spend 100K just to get the simplest of changes made. This was the biggest mistake we have ever made. Never Again Fernbrook!

Purchased a home in 2011 from this builder. Had a difficult time arranging things from within the office. They do not know customer service.
Most of their construction crew were qualified and did an awesome job

Worst service ever., We purchased a brand new home located in Alton Village Burlington and when we contacted the builder and informed them of crack throughout the basement floor they brushed it off and said it was normal. Fought with the builder to come onsite again the following yr as the cracks were getting worse and worse, again builder siad this is normal and no need to worry about it. Third yr of contctacting the builder and requested them to come onsite to see the cracks are getting worse, builder came onsite took some pictures and told us that we have a big issue... asked how long we have been in the house.. we stated 3 yrs and they then said we only cover up to 2 yrs. The builder knows there is a problem and they will not fix it, and have not returned any of our calls. the cost to get this fixed if i got it done myself would be 30k +..

If anyone considers buying a home in alton village pls dont.. come and see the cracks in my house and see what your paying for.. A+ service , not likely. I have lots of pictures if anyone is intrested.

I also got an engineer to come onsite to see what the problem is , and they said the builder didnt build to code, someting is very wrong with the way they packed the floor before they poured the cement.

I bought one of the largest estate lot in the site. The house price is very reasonable given it is more than 2 acres of land, but the upgrade at the decor center is 10 times more $$$$ than find your own contractor. Overall I would still recommend this builder but make you hire you own contractor for upgrade.

NEVER buy from FERNBROOK! The customer service was absolutely horrible right from the begining of the process. The house was not ready for our bank to come and do their appraisal. Our PDI inspection was scheduled one day before our closing. There was a water leak in the basement. Occupancy ready items were still outstanding and our lawyers office still had not recevied the closing documents on day of closing yet we got billed charges for delayed closing. The decor lady screwed up our color and tiles choices. The painters stained our stairs a different color. It has now been a year and we are still waiting for them to fix issues. Fernbrook asked us to cancel our TARION inspection and promised to fix the outstanding issues. We are still waiitng for them to fix these. We have been without a shower in our master bathroom since March 2013. I keep sending emails to hopefully receive a response but nothing to date. As a welcome gift their worker drove a caterpillar into my car. They have our money and now we don't exist. There needs to be more strict guidelines because TARION is of no help as well. It is a safety net just to protect the builders not the home owners.

Fernbrook Homes customer service is simply horrible, especially after you move in. After you paid money you stop existing for them and you have to be very persistent to get someone doing something. They had to change about 40% of our kitchen cabinets and it took them almost a year to complete it. They were too slow with other minor, but still important repairs. When buying a house in that price range one expects a bit of customer-oriented approach. DO NOT EXPECT IT FROM FERNBROOK. Their favourite trick is finger pointing (that are not us, that are kitchen contractors/electricians/plumbers; here is their phone number.. . )They somehow forget that we were paying to THEM, not to their contractors.

The worst customer service from five builders I had to deal with before. They build expensive homes with very bad materials and workmanship. I will never buy anything from Fernbrook again!!!!

We bought a home from them and we are so happy with the service they have provided. I would highly recommend buying a home from this company. From start to finish we have not had any problems and they have superior customer service.

We're building a home through Fernbrook that is due to Close in mid-2013. The entire experience with them has been smooth and enjoyable. The sales process at their March 2012 release for Alton Village went very smoothly. The follow up meetings with Max on the structural changes, and the interior decor meetings with Gabriella were a lot of fun. Our home was originally set to Close in April 2013, and they were required to inform us by January if our closing date would shift. They informed us in October that our closing would be moved to August 2013, and we greatly appreciated the advance notice that they didn't have to give us. Since that time the foundation had been poured and our closing is likely to be closer to the original date than the later one. We've thoroughly enjoyed working with Fernbrook because of their attention to detail, customer service, and excellent quality of their craftsmanship.

the service is excellent. they gave me 5 times free and every time 3 hours window. thereafter $150 per hour. but actually I met with their consultant more than 5 times and each time the consultant is very patient and nice. i am very satisfied with her design on our new home.
