We were treated like family by Joe and Sidney from the moment we walked in the door. They didn't try and upsell us or anything they were focused on finding the right product for our needs. We ended up with a gorgeous Canadian made engineered hardwood at an exceptional price with delivery as and when promised. They are one of the good guys in this business. We would recommend them without hesitation.

We found the perfect shade of oak hardwood flooring here and the price was reasonable. Our home is over 100 years old and the old infrastructure is hard to work on. Carmen, the installer, did a superlative job of installing new subfloor and meticulously installing the hardwood. He cut under and around old baseboards and moldings and achieved as smooth a transition as possible with the stone floors in adjoining rooms. The store's owner dropped by to ensure that all was going well. Highly recommended.

I have purchased carpet and installationbfor 2 basement rooms at my mother's house. The salesperson was first a friendly and gave me a good price and included underpad for free. They have contected the installer to come in on long weekend, which he did.
I have recommended them to others.

We were not impressed with Dundas Carpet and Flooring. Joseph came and gave us a competitive estimate and sounded very accommodating - in other words, he was a good salesman. The sub-contractor that they sent out also talked a good game but didn't end up doing a nice job on the floor - there were many areas where tiles were not even with each other. He seemed dependable - but wasn't. After finishing the tiling we made the mistake of paying for the job because he promised to come back on the weekend to "finish up" - reinstall baseboards and paint a small section of wall, as that was part of the contract. To make matters worse, within one week one of the tiles developed a crack (not sure if it was faulty tile or not installed correctly). After MANY calls to the sub-contractor and Dundas - it TOOK 11 MONTHS for them to replace the cracked tile, and only because I kept phoning repeatedly. At about month 9 we got so fed up that we hired a handyman to replace the baseboards. I would not recommend this company. Beware - they talk a good game, but then don't follow through.

Worst customer service experience we've ever had! Did the job wrong 3 x and then tried to send the same installer back a 4th time to try again until we insisted they find someone new. Gave us the run around for months, were rude when we called and we finally settled on a poorly done job just to be done with them.
Can't say enough bad things to warn people away from the company!

The service was excellent. Everything as promised and professional. Would definitely recommend them.
