I am trying for the last 10 years to cancel my water-heater rental to be able to install an tankless and more energy efficient unit. The unit I have is 18 years old and was charged $345 for buyout cost. The rental cost increased from $24 to $42 within the last 18 years without any justification. Also, Enercare did not want to take back the unit and was told to dispose of it myself instead of them recycle the unit.

Tankless water heater was replaced April 8th. Have not received the documentation for the rental, called Enercare twice I was advised today I should receive by May 10th. If I don't received, call back. This is ridiculous. This is not good customer service.
I bought a furnace a couple of days ago. The sales person was very good, explained the details, well not in the first meeting. But, he answered all my questions.

Jordan, Podraic and Pream were absolutely wonderful ... they showed up on time and worked without any breaks from 9:30 right through to 4:30. They were pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and thorough as well as conscientious and meticulous in ensuring that they did not track in any debris from outside on a cold, wet and windy day.
I noticed water on my main floor, Dripping from above and was unsure where the issue was coming from. I immediately called EnerCare, and explained my observations. They promptly sent someone out who quickly identified the problem. Realizing that a connection in my shower stall was leaking, He wasted no time in repairing it. Im so grateful that at least parts were not required to be ordered. Technician had everything handy and Promptly fixed the problem. I Have always used EnerCare, and will definitely continue to use them.
I've signed electrical protection plan with enervate and thought I would be protected in case of electrical malfunction. Soon enough I got very disappointed. I've made an appointment for electrical service on Sunday in the window 10:00-14:00. On the day of scheduled service I called the customer service to find out if my service call is on the way, was told technician would call me half an hour prior. I patiently waited for the phone call. Instead at 10:57 AM I received email with a receipt from Enercare for service that never happened. I called customer service again - was promised to receive a call from scheduler with the appointment for the same day. At 2:00 pm when nobody called me - placed another call, spoke to agent Andreas and supervisor Juliet ( call lasted about 1 hour with innumerable holds). Juliet promised scheduler would call me shortly to make an appointment for me at my convenience. Nobody called - instead I received email with an appointment for the most inconvenient time for me. My advise to anyone thinking about signing any protection plan with Enercare - stay away!!! Save your emotions, time, money. Find another provider.
