He came to quote when he said he would. He showed up to do the
work exactly on time. The price was very reasonable. He did a
really good job of trimming my two maple trees. There was maybe one leaf on my driveway when he finished. So tidy. A good guy.

I have used Derek's Tree Service a couple times now and this most recent time showed the same professionalism and service quality that I admire. We had a silver maple that was dropping (big) limbs during windstorms and given it was close to the house I elected to have it removed. I met with Chris and received a fair quote for removal of the tree, stump, and some roots. He and his team were on time, friendly, and got the job done. They also offered to trim a branch or two of other trees with no charge. That is customer service! Clean up was thorough and finished on time. Will continue to use Derek's for any of my tree needs.

Not only does Derek’s tree service get the job done safely and quickly, he has a heart for wildlife. Today he found a squirrel’s nest of babies in a tree being cut for safety reasons, and brought that section of tree to the ground safely so that the mother squirrel could retrieve the babies. Thank you Derek! This is what we hope for!

In addition, Derek’s crew brought a huge white oak tree down safely on our Mineola property. A very difficult job well executed. These are huge dangerous treecutting jobs that Derek’s crew handles quickly and easily in not much more than half a day with his huge crew. Other companies quoted 3 days for same job. Thanks again Derek! Highly recommended service!

Kevin took the time to understand the scope of the job. He was also careful with my two Catalpas, making sure they would be pruned under the proper conditions. Price quoted for the job was reasonable and job was well done.

I hired Derek to trim a huge elm tree on my neighbours property that was constantly dropping leaves all summer into my pool. The team arrived on time, were very friendly, completed the work quickly and no mess was left in my neighbours yard. Will definately call them again if I need tree help in the future.
