Canadian Choice

Since we have been fully satisfied with this same company in the past, we decided to forgo getting estimates from others and get our house updated during the 2014 March break. The price was very reasonable, and Alex D. did a great job in finding the proper windows and door for our home and got the order scheduled to be delivered during my holidays. I was quite satisfied up to this point and had no complaints through that process.
Quality of the windows is 4 out of 5 (with some minor imperfections such as spacers moving up and down when windows are opened/closed), and the patio door lock is scuffing the white vinyl. This is purely the design of the product and will be monitored over time for any defects. I had my previous issues resolved today, and I thank HomeStars for the effective media that helped push this resolution. Thank you Canadian Choice for doing the right thing. I would have been a VERY happy customer if it would have been much sooner. Cheers!

We were looking to get our windows and doors done. We called Canadian Choice Windows and Max came over to give us an estimate. He was very professional and advice us what is our options on windows. The installer crew did a good job. We would recommend Max and Canadian Choice Windows to anyone who is looking good job well done.

Following my earlier review, I would like to say that after contacting the company, they replaced all our faulty windows, living up to the lifetime guarantee. The job was done quickly and tidily, with no cost to us at all. We were told that they had changed suppliers, since they had had problems with the windows they installed in our home. Thanks to Canadian Windows & Doors for the great service.

We had our windows replaced 8 years ago. The installers moved quickly, but damaged several of our wooden window frames. In the last 2 years the windows have deteriorated and look awful. There are opaque, white lines showing in all of them.

Alex Davidovich visited us right from the estimate stage and gave us exemplary service for our Home Windows Replacement Project. Timelines were duly observed.

Alex coordinated with great patience with our tenant and did a totally seamless, painless job. the quality and workmanship is excellent and as a bonus we got tempered glass for our largest picture window in the Living Room, without having to pay anything extra, We are so happy we added value to our property through Canadian Choice Windows.

The installers were fast and professional. Helen is a great asset to Canadian Choice Windows & Doors. The previous person who scheduled installations was not good. I understand she has been replaced
by Helen who got things sorted immediately and
efficiently. However the installers did not close the back get after leaving and my dog escaped. The truck left a large grease stain on my drive. There is a deep scratch on the footboard in one of the rooms which was not there before. At this point I have had no issues with the windows and they appear to be satisfactory. Winter will tell all. Having said all this I would be reluctant to recommend this company at this time.

I had my windows replaced by Canadian Choice me and my family are happy with them. The installer did a great job. They really make sure the job is done with our satisfaction.I appreciate also Olga,the sales representative for her unending help throughout the process and the whole team is pleasant to deal with. Not recommended - unprofessional and bad installation leading to home damage.

We originally decided to go with Canadian Choice based on reviews and mid-range price-point.
Once our deposit was provided things changed towards a negative experience. Our sales rep Alex found it hard to do simple courtesy's such as return phone calls.

Once the installation was scheduled the crew was unable to complete the job within the estimated time and took another entire day. When they determined this extra time was needed, they were not very flexible with the days and made us feel as though we were unable to be accomadating although we would have taken the days off work if we had known ahead of time.

The installation techs were pleasant but messy and damaged a few things. Throwing construction material on top of our plants is not very considerate.

Also some of the goods were not delivered as promised, Ie: mdf trim installed instead of the wooden trim we were promised and paid for.

Now one month later we have a leak with a patio door they installed. We were told someone would come by on a specific day but was a no-show, no call and now can't get a hold of them. Every rainfall is resulting in damage to our home. At this point, we may have to call in someone else to fix the damage.

Update after company response: The trim was in fact wood as promised, not sure how we missed this but do want to relay that this was our error and Canadian Choice Windows should not be judged poorly based on this. However, we still stand by our review based on scheduling issues and calls not being returned. Plus, the damaged plant being referred to was not the ones close to the window. Those plants are understandable and were replanted as needed elsewhere during the installation. It had to do with one that was not anywhere close and yet it seemed like material was being thrown away from the house directly at it. When we asked to be a little careful and throw it away from the tree, we were asked what's so special about it.

To Start with Kevin Steer(sales) was great to talk to and a good communicator, He was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling and explained the process clearly. Jeremy and the service crew were did a great job on an older home (30yrs+) had squeezed the windows into tight spots (basement) . When all is said and done I'm very happy with the investment investment in windows for our home and would recommend this company as the got to window company.

We were introduced to this company by Alexander Pridatko, Installation Manager. He visited our home, explained in detail what Canadian Choice Windows could offer, showed us samples of actual windows that we would receive. He was professional, courteous, on time and very thorough answering our questions.
Canadian Choice was the fourth estimate we received and they accommodated our needs within our budget.
The windows arrived and were installed within the time frame planned. The installation crew, headed by Mike, was also very professional. They installed the windows and a screen door very efficiently, cleaned up any mess made by the installation and did a great job! Our new windows are such an improvement and we are very pleased that we chose Canadian Windows and Doors for our home. Thanks, guys!
Also, Alexander stopped by our home the same day after the windows were installed to look at the installation and answer any questions. Great service!
