READ THE FINE PRINT!! they'll tell you 10 years parts & labour, well less than 1.5 years after spending over 5k I've got no heat, was told "that's emergency service it's $129.00 per hour". After losing heat on New Years Eve and determining that we needed a new furnace, and then received a family referral, we called Button's Heating. The service we received from the first call was excellent. After calling and speaking with Nigel at 9 am, Todd Buttons arrived at our home at 10 am on one of the coldest days of the season. After receiving his estimate and another competitive one that day, Todd offered to come back later the same day to go over the details of estimate again with my husband. Todd's service was impeccable --- patient, polite, knowledgeable and very professional. His estimate was comparable and in the end, we believe we received the best price for the best furnace with the best service. We booked with Button's and had the new furnace installed the next day. The installers were very efficient, professional and courteous especially Mike who seemed to have everything under control. Todd called that evening to ensure all went well and is planning an additional visit to review the installation. The house is warm and the furnace is working beautifully! Overall, an excellent experience. We highly recommend Button's and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

Our 20+ year old home furnace had reached the end of its service life choosing to die just as the winter season was at its absolute coldest. We chose the good folks at Button's Heating to replace and update our heating, air-conditioning and water heating systems because of our previous experiences with them on a commercial basis. From the initial service visits of Jeff and Mario, who left us additional heaters to offset the loss of our furnace, to the installers, Jonathan, Mike N, Ryan, Justin, Mike H and Evans we were impressed with the professionalism and dedication to providing excellent customer service from the Button's Team. The little things like introducing themselves individually to mopping up an unavoidably wet floor before they left provided us with an overall wonderful outcome at a seemingly dire time. The new energy efficient equipment works wonderfully and appears neat and tidy too. Honestly, if not for the frequent update conversations that took place while they were installing the new equipment, you'd hardly know that they were here and had done as much work as they did. Their (Button’s Heating) prices are competitive. Their people are outstanding!

My wife and I were in the market for a new furnace and got estimates from several different companies. Nigel at Button's went way beyond anybody else to give us what we wanted. Very happy with them. Installers were fantastic as well to keep everything tidy.

We finally decided after many years to switch from oil to gas and initially thought it would be a big undertaking full of applications and permits etc...We were going to hire another company to do the job, but decided to go with Buttons Heating after speaking with their Rep, Nigel Charlton, while in Home Depot Oshawa one Saturday. He came over promptly the next day and from there he looked after every last detail. We got a better furnace (Trane), thermostat with wifi (temp can be controlled from computer anywhere - Great feature!) and air conditioning.They even arranged removal and disposal of old oil tank - all in 1 day!!! Next day independent inspection was thumbs up all the way! The entire process was completely hassle-free and the workers were courteous and professional. Nigel made sure every consideration was taken care of and was there to oversee every part of the process personally. This is the kind of service that we all hope to have when undertaking such a large project. Even our neighbours commented on how unobtrusive the whole affair was. You will NOT be disappointed with the Button Heating crew! VERY professional!

After learning that our furnace could not be fixed, we proceeded to obtain some quotes. When Craig Rodgers from Button’s arrived, we liked him immediately and felt very comfortable with him. He is professional, knowledgeable, honest and down to earth. He outlined the products, explained things in terms we could understand and never made us feel pressured. We like Button’s because it is a family run company, in business for decades with excellent reviews, and after meeting Craig, the choice was very easy. Craig returned the same night to complete the paper work and was able to arrange installation for us the next day! The installation crew, Jonathan, Mike N. and Mike H. arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were great guys, friendly, efficient, professional, knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had for them. They are very neat and left our house exactly as they found it. The installation area is pretty small, so we know it was a bit of a challenge for them, but they made it appear effortless. When everything was installed Jonathan explained everything that had been done and outlined all that we needed to know. The entire experience from sales to installation could not have been more effortless for us. We would highly recommend Button’s to anyone. The sales rep (Ricardo) was very thorough and professional. His knowledge of the product was was exceptional, largely due to his sales and installation experience. While Trane is a reputable equipment manufacturer, it is crucial that the unit is sized and installed to suit the application. With Ricardo's expertise and the experience of the insallation crew, all of my expectations were exceeded. I was especially impressed with the competence, courtesy and cleanliness of the install crew. I can confidently speak to all of the above, as my profession is in the field of mulit-discipline engineering and construction. The unit has been online for about 3 weeks and it is performing very well. Some nice features include: the Ecobee thermostat (online monitoring, time of day and vacation programming, flexible control setting, weather forecast, etc, humidifier, varible speed fan....). I'm looking forward to watching my energy bills drop. I would definitely recommend Button's and Trane for your new furnace.
