New windows

I choose Beverly Windows primarily for there warranty. I had them install my windows twice, since windows are very costly. The first time, the installation was a joke. The installer was a short man so I had to assist in the installation and use my tools. I had to later call my and had a service man repair there work (there repair service calls are excellent., this a major plus and the choice I choose Beverly windows)

The second installation a couple of years later was great, although they missed measured the window and had to return a few days later. (this wasn't an issue to us because mistakes happens). A couple of years past and we had a baby and began using this room. Last year, I found the room very cold during the winter (colder then the older windows) and didn't know why? Two weeks ago I pulled out the trim, and shocked to find missing spry insulation on the top and bottom of the window. Once I insulated the windows the room is toasty and no long drafty

In summary, I would rate the windows and service calls excellent, but the installation was horrable. I choose a competitor company to finish my other windows. This time I watched every installation.

Approximate cost of services:
$12,000.00

Company Response

Thank you for the compliments on our windows and service. It is regretful that one of the windows was made the wrong size and I am pleased that to hear that you received a new one in a matter of days. Our service team has reviewed your comments and unfortunately, without your contact information, we are unable to pull your file. The reason that this is important is to be able to identify who performed the work and also the type of installation that was specified on your order. A "retrofit" installation is performed with the existing interior casings and jamb extensions left in tact. No insulation is added in behind this trim. There is however insulation and a sealant applied between the new window and existing jamb in this type of installation. We urge you to reach out to us to and let us know who you are so we may update your file which assists us in managing our quality control. It is also important that you advise us of any future concerns regarding our product or installation as it is imperative that we perform the adjustments for warranty reasons
