Roofing

Years ago Avenue Road Roofing replaced my roof. Years later I had a problem with one of the roof vents that had been installed. Avenue Road Roofing paid for all new upgraded roof vents. Partner Ed Standish absorbed all the extra costs for this. Outstanding service . They take pride in their work.

Company Response

Dear Joey,
Please contact me directly and I'll see you're reimbursed and compensated for your trouble. We use metal vents exclusively and always have. I would be interested in locating your file and finding out what occurred on your job. Also of course who you spoke to here as you should have been looked after. My cell is 416-877-1951. I look forward to speaking to you personally.
Ed Standish (Partner)

Roofing

Years ago I employed Ave road to put on a new roof. A few years later the squirrels in my neighborhood had chewed through the cheap plastic roof vents that they had installed. The squirrels got into my attic and nested there. The cost for the pest removal was about $250.00 I contacted Ave rd roofing so I could get the cheap plastic vents removed and quality metal vents installed. I was confident that they would do so this since the roof was still under warranty . I was shocked when they refused. They were the ones that had installed these cheap dollar store quality roof vents in the first place . I had to pay another roofing company $ 250.00 to have quality metal roof vents installed. I was confident if I had taken them to small claims court that I would have won the case. I had to let them off the hook since I could not get time off work , to fight them in court. Funny enough when I contacted them recently they stated that they no longer install these cheap plastic roof vents -they only install metal ones. The question that must be asked here is - Why did they use such sub standard roofing materials in the first place ? Be wary of any warranty they offer on their work.
