Chimney cleaning, chimney inspection
Having recently moved into our first house, we wanted to ensure that our chimneys were clean and safe to use. From Home Stars, we got the name of MagicTouch. I called them, and had a very nice conversation on the phone. We have two fireplaces with separate flues. Their fixed price is $125 for the first chimney and $110 for the second.
Richard, their technician came on time. He looked at the chimneys and told me they had recently been cleaned, and didn't need to be cleaned again. He also told me that I should not use one of the chimney's due to safety concerns tied to poor construction. Richard then gave me some ideas and insight into switching over to a wood stove insert, in order to make use of this separate fire place.
At the end of the day, I was only charged $50 for the inspection. Great service. I will definitely use them again.
