Davis & Ross Construction

We bought our new construction home from Davis & Ross, and overall we're pleased. Some things could be better--they could have used higher quality products in many areas of our home. Most notably, sink and plumbing fixtures and flooring. One thing we were terribly disappointed in was the quality of the carpet they installed. It's very low quality and a horrible color, and the didn't give us any choice about it. We purchased our home well before the flooring was installed, so this was a fairly major upset for us. We've also been able to locate ALL of the bathroom and plumbing fixtures, plus the kitchen faucet, etc. at the local WalMart for very cheap. They're not very attractive and don't do service to the relatively high quality of the rest of the house. Overall we're pleased, but we feel Davis&Ross could be much better with just a little more thought & effort.
