We hired Air Care Cooling and Heating to come out and look at our swamp cooler last fall. The service was terrible. The guy was an hour late and I don't think he did much if anything.
This spring we hired a local contractor. This guy let us know that we should have unplugged it, which may have saved us from buying a new pump and we should have shut off the water.
Overall it was very dissapointing that we made it clear we had no idea what to do with the swamp cooler and the guy from Air Care didn't bother to give us simple advice on how to care for our unit.
