Our old 1976 double wide mobile home was definitely in dire need of some very minor repairs. Rather than call an expensive specialist we hired Dexters to help with some problems. There was a hole in the wall from the previous owners that was quite large, approximately a foot and a half on both sides. They did a fantastic job sealing it, even painting it so it matched the blue room. There were a few leaky sinks that they repaired, they looked at the plumbing but did advise we probably needed a plumber for some of it, they did fix what they could and make it liveable. I highly recommend this company!

Two installers came out to help us lay sticky tile down in one large bathroom and to finish laying the sticky tile in our bathroom after a friend abandoned the project. They were only a few minutes late and called to reassure us they were on their way. The job was fantastic, we only poked our heads in to see how it looked (which they encouraged). I loved the service but felt way too much sales pressure to have the rest of the kitchen redone. I politely let them know that I didn't have the funds but they were insistant that I call back and have it done later. I would never hire them again based on this but I do love the work they did for us. Just be firm in telling them no to other services if you should hire them.

The Genes Handyman Service guy came on time for an odd project that ended up being extremely cheap. We needed a twelve foot sign hung on the side of our building which was made of concrete. The guy was fast and bolted hooks in place to make it easy if we needed to put up a new sign. He hung a PVC pipe from the bottom of the sign to help hold it down (the wind was flinging it everywhere). While I ended up taking off the PVC pipe later because it didn't help much the installation was beautiful and cheap.

We hired Air Care Cooling and Heating to come out and look at our swamp cooler last fall. The service was terrible. The guy was an hour late and I don't think he did much if anything. This spring we hired a local contractor. This guy let us know that we should have unplugged it, which may have saved us from buying a new pump and we should have shut off the water. Overall it was very dissapointing that we made it clear we had no idea what to do with the swamp cooler and the guy from Air Care didn't bother to give us simple advice on how to care for our unit.

I visited Evergreen Electric on a whim, I originally planned Home Depot but it was too far and wanted to try a new place. The service I received was exceptional to say the least. Walking in the door I had two gentlemen greet me and let me know that they could help me find anything I needed. After about five mintues of navigating the small store, I was lost as to where to find flat washers. One of the guys noticed my frustration and asked what I was building. It turns out he knew what I needed, even finding longer screws than I thought possible. It was VERY cheap for everything, I probably would've wasted at least another hour and doubled my costs had I gone to Home Depot.
