Green Authority Corp

Green Authority came and installed a new Hydronic Water heating system for us. We had some unique requirements to minimize space and sound, and this seemed like the best option.

We had a Hydronic Air handler and tankless water heater installed to provide both heat and cooling to our home rather than a loud furnace. We used dead space by mounting it on the wall above the sump pump.

The system appears to be working well and have had no issues with heating the house so far and it is very quiet.

We had a few issues during the project but Terry seemed to genuinely care about his customers and did his best to take care of all of our issues.

I had a very difficult time with Green Authority. They came and installed an entirely new HVAC system for me and the entire experience was difficult.

One of the technicians damaged my brand new washing machine and dryer while cutting new holes for the dryer vent. He let the loose brick fall and damage the machines. Green Authority did however pay for the repairs.

The air handler (I have hydronic heating) while seems to be heating the house fine, had very poor cooling performance compared to my previous setup. I called the manufacturer directly and they told me the unit was undersized for my house.

Green Authority also failed to return my water tank to Enercare, I ended up paying the rental fee for several months before we noticed it was never returned and was sitting in their warehouse. I had trouble getting this issue resolved and I was fortunate that I was able to just cancel the plan with Enercare since the tank was at the end of it's service life.

The system does function, is very quiet and uses very little space, exactly what I was looking for, the cooling system is just undersized and I do believe Terry, the owner, does genuinely care about his customers.
