W. McCleave in Victoria

We met Alica in 2003 and our relationship continued until we moved from Oakville in 2011. We beganwith Alica designing and landscaping our back yard: removing all of the grass, creating 2 patios, flagstone walkways, a dry pond, planting trees and perennials. Every year we had a project together and Alica organized and did most of the work herself although building the arbour and laying the patio paving stones were subcontracted out. We had a beautiful space to enjoy. Thanks to Alica's design, our back yard became a sanctuary for us, and a place where birds and butterflies visited. There was something blooming from April to October. We have recommended Alica to many friends and have heard great reviews. She stands behind her work and when given the freedom to explore and experiment, if all doesn't go as hoped, she makes "it right". I wish she was here to design the green space in our current home - we haven't found anyone to replace her.
