The basement renovation by Vitaly, Natalie, Igor, Yuri, Alex, and the whole crew was great. Exceeded expectations in every way. Initial estimate was 2.5 weeks (due to the size of the basement), and finished in 2 weeks and 1 day. The crew worked from 8-7 every day, and even longer if they needed it to move the project forward. Very professional, clean, great suggestions along the way. But the best thing turned out to be something that we didn't realize for a few weeks... We had our washing machine in our main-floor laundry room overflow. There was about 2 inches of water on the floor, which made its way to the basement. Thanks to the DRIcore subfloor, the water travelled below the finished floor to the drain on the other side of the basement, with no major damage The other two groups that we received quotes from were local, and said we didn't need a subfloor since there wasn't a risk for flooding in our area. We would have been in serious trouble if we didn't have it installed.
