An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
John from Clearview came out to fix my furnace which was not working at all!! He was wonderful and had the problem fixed and provided amazing service! Clearview Plumbing is a SUPER company amd I am glad that I choose them out of the phone book. Great service and great employees!!

The phonebook is great - we get a lot of great new clients from there - but remember, ads in the yellow pages are not subjective! Of course those yellowpage ads won't tell you if the company doesn't have insurance, drug-tested and security cleared technicians, or even licensed technicians at all! It's important to cross reference with CERTIFIED customer testimonials - unfortunately it is not uncommon to hear about people getting "burned" by even the most seemingly reputable of companies. It's just nice to know that there's a place (homestars.com) where we can go to see what OTHER homeowners think about a company before YOU invite them in! Learn from other's successes and mistakes and don't forget to contribute - especially if it's GREAT service you received!
