They always ask for 40% deposit and 60% at the end which is risky knowing the company's reputation. Summary of story: big damage on sewer main line after a decent renovation including flooring installation, I was in a time constraint situation to resolve this issue asap. - they quoted and said I had to redo previous sewer line repair as it had cheap materials when indeed it was false, confronted and confirmed with several certified plumbers, that implied to dig and break the flooring as well. - At that point I had made $5000 deposit and hence I decided to cancel the work order - The owner said deposit was not refundable You can see the invoice below, sad to know still there are contractors doing this to the clients.
