I had problems with my furnance on April 9,2011 and called Aire One. The problem related to the flame sensor on my Goodman Furnance. the techinician told me it is not that expensive. he went to the car to get the part. When he come back he told me it was $234. I tried to get the part with a lower price as it seemed exepensive to me. And I was told only for Goodman brand the part is this expensive. Because I had only 60 F in my house and knowing I will be charge $99 for diagnostic only I felt that I don't have choice and have it installed. After the technician left I went on line and checked on the internet the price for the part I had changed. The price ranged from 8$to50$.After that I called several business on same line of business and was told that the most they would have charged me would be $150. I paid $ 319.79 by cheque#135 for half of an hour work and one part that I understand it is not as expensive as I was charged. I belive I have been overcharged and not offered any other options. I totally disagree with this way of doing buiseness and I will never recommend or use theirAir One services in the future

I apologize about the delay in response as this has just come to my attention. At our service department, we strive to provide excellent service and OEM approved parts for all makes and models. With your furnace being a Goodman unit, the travel costs to pick up the part from the Goodman depot and to install may have been a little more, but you will see that it still costs less than other companies out in the industry. As we specialize in York and Carrier models, Goodman parts are not readily available. We thank you again for the chance to service you.
