Kirsten Marshall, owner of Palmerston Design Consultants is someone we had worked with before for changing up some colours in our condo a few years ago. In large part due to her work, our condo sold well above average for the building and so we decided to use her again when we bought our new house. She chose all of the paint colours for the entire house as well as all of the major fixtures for our kitchen and bathroom with impeccable taste. Not only does our house look amazing (and is now worth more than we paid for it), she saved us a lot of money by connecting us with her suppliers for everything from the kitchen counter top to the bathroom vanity, tub, toilet, etc etc who were able to extend better pricing to us. You'd think hiring a designer would increase your costs but in our case she saved us so much money, it more than paid for her services. All that aside, she is lovely to deal with and had so many great ideas for little accents we would never have thought of, such as painting the front door and banister railing and newel post black. Now whenever we show the house to someone they all want to know who our designer was. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or hire her again.

Jason, Vasso and the team did a fantastic job with our house. We bought an old 2 story 3 bedroom and originally planned to redo the kitchen and bathroom and paint the rest of the house. Jason convinced us to keep our cupboards, which were otherwise in good condition and just let them repaint it. The result was that the kitchen looked brand new. People are shocked when we tell them those are the original cabinets. It saved us a lot of money over installing new ones. I have noticed some minor chips appearing here and there, which we are touching up as we find them. You have to be really careful for the first few months, but aside from that I'm so glad we did it. As for the rest of the house, they did a fantastic job. Our place looks amazing. Jason (the owner) is super detail oriented and inspected to make sure everything was done to satisfaction. He arranged touchups for anything we needed to be fixed. Jason also recommended the electrician and hardwood company we ended up using and helped manage the timing of each of their work, which helped tremendously. I'm so glad we went with Renaissance. It wasn't cheap but for the money they saved us in the kitchen and the helpfulness and professionalism of Jason and his staff we feel we certainly got our money's worth.
