I contacted Dr. Hvac requesting a quote to have a humidifier installed in my home and received the quote within a couple of hours. Colleen was great, very quick to reply to emails and answered my questions. I had to wait 2 days to hear back from 3 other companies. Dr. Hvac was $50-$200 cheaper and provided a newer model of humidifier. The Tech (Mike) showed up promptly at the pre-arranged time and really went above and beyond what was required. The drain pipe from my furnace had come loose so he fixed that and he also checked the furnace filter. When I told him my AC unit wasn’t functioning well he checked it out as well. All of this was at no charge aside from what I was quoted originally for the humidifier and it’s installation. For anyone getting a humidifier installed take note that Dr Hvac uses a proper T-junction when installing a humidifier… not one of those valves that pierces the pex pipe and usually fails at an inconvenient time. You know, like the day after you go on vacation for a couple of weeks. The new pipe leading from the T junction was not the one supplied by the manufacturer of the humidifier but a stronger, more reliable line. I was very happy and felt that the service was well beyond my expectations. Dr Hvac, I will be back!
