Kabrob, the owner of Awash, was awesome! I am a very fussy client and he was ALWAYS accommodating. Kudos to his crew also-very professional and accommodating. My roof presented a number of issues-some flat and others pitched. I also had some ice damming issues which were addressed through ridge vents. Awash was recommended by a contractor friend who is very meticulous and demands nothing less than perfection. My initial impression of Kabrob proved to be correct. He informed me, in writing, about the price and updated me daily on the progress and consistently met his undertakings. Most importantly, he ALWAYS took the time to answer my calls and entertain all concerns expressed. I have had poor experiences with roofers in the past (not this home) and would caution anyone considering a roof to not base their decision solely on price. A roof is one of the most important components of a home and is made up of more than shingles - be sure to consider quality shingles, drip edges, ridge venting and ice and water shield. It goes without saying, a poor installation could result in substantial monetary loss. Awash is fully insured. As a lawyer, I am always cognizant of potential legal ramifications of dangerous work. Thank goodness all work was completed without incident. Knowing the company was insured provided peace of mind. Finally, having the knowledge Awash will be around to honour their warranty was another reason I chose them. It is with pleasure I recommend Awash to all those requiring a roof. Lawrence L.
