Last week we replaced all 9 main floor windows in our bungalow. In our previous place we had replaced our windows with dual pane Sunsaver-Low E (R5) windows and in moving to this newer house were totally amazed by how poor regular nonglazed-air spaced builder standard PVC windows actually are. We really missed our old house windows. The sales person came over and walked us through the Supreme's product options and we decided to use the Alberta rebate and go up to triple pane SolarGuard2 (R7+) window configuration. He Identified the windows install would include proper window nail flange install and proper tie in to building house wrap. There is no way I would accept retrofit with out proper nail flange and house seal tie-in. Our house has either vinyl siding or smart board trim around the windows. He identified up front that there might be some issue with removal and re-usability of the Smart board trim around some of the windows. He quoted replacement just in case it could not be reused depending on how the dismantle task went. Supreme windows handled all the paperwork for the Alberta Energy rebate submission, with before and after pictures. Our install date came almost 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Our installers were extremely talented and professional. They were allotted 3 days for the job size and weather considerations. They actually completed the task in two days. Their experience really showed in deconstruction and preparation for the installation. They were successful in removal of all the smart board trim with almost no external damage. They applied proper window water seal flashing tie in on the base of the window sill and sealed everything around the window nail flange to tie into the house wrap seal. They cut back the vinyl siding to allow for the window nail trim. They applied new J trim to finish off the vinyl siding and finish the nail trim with metal cladded brick moulding. At the end of the job I told the installation crew, they made a tough job look easy. If I had done it myself I would have taken 7 days to complete and they did a better job than I did on my own with my previous house. In the end Les was able to refund the invoice for the materials not required by the install. Totally upfront with everything! I really like the new upgrade to triple pane and the solarguard2 coatings. We immediately notices a significant change in comfort level and sound level of external sounds compared to our old dual pane PVC windows. I recommend that anyone looking at window replacement really consider either solarguard and low E coatings to improve standard window performances. The real proof came a week later when we had another snow event and extreme fog overnight. Frost actually formed on the outside of the window, just like our vehicles. This is a real testiment to the insulation value of the triple pane solar guard2 insulation. The heat loss was so little such that the outside window pane was cold enough to allow frost to form outside. I could actually scratch it with my finger nails. We experienced really good work and interaction with Supreme windows. They paid attention to all the details. I have no reservation in recommending Supreme windows for window replacement job.

Overall very pleased with all aspects of the transaction. The quote was very prompt and explaination and access to view options were explained very well and errors on manufacturers website were clarified. The crew arrived right at the designated time. My original door also had a broken spring so the door had to be disassembled from inside before access to materials from vehicle. Once removed the old track and weather stripping was removed so it was back to just a bare door opening. Assembly of the new door was quick, New rails were installed and the all the door hardware put in place. Spring tension was set and adjustments made to the door for smooth door operation. Weather stripping added and even find details of notching out for other piece made corner connections fit perfectly. During the entire process all garbage and collected and stored to keep the worksite clean at all times. Final touch up cleaning was performed to remove hand print on the new door. It's attention to the small details which make it a real pleasure to observe and report on. I was amazed that the whole job only took about 2.5 hours. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, the service and the process.
