They did a good job on the glass but that was it. The rest was poorly done. We complained and the lady on the phone said they would send a team back to make sure that the job was done right. The original job took about 3 hours. That means we were charged over $200 per hour. At that price, we feel that we were paying for excellence not crap. On the second go-around, sadly, we got the same team as before that was headed by a guy named Dave. We heard more about what he couldn't and/or wouldn't do than what would be done to clean things properly. Apparently, men in kilts does not use any kind of detergent. This, we were told, is due to a city of Calgary bylaw. I know the city of Calgary has some strange bylaws but I also know that there are many detergents today the are Eco-friendly and do not use any phosphates. If, indeed, there is a bylaw banning the use of soap, the City of Calgary needs to revisit it and bring into the 21st century along with many other bylaws that date from previous centuries. But I digress... Now back on topic... What we are most upset about is that Dave sold us services that were not adequate to the task. That is, without some form of soap and a bit of scrubbing some dirt just will not come off. Had we been told the limitations of their service, we would not have paid for several of their services. We would have tried our own devices to obtain a cleaner result. Men in Kilts needs to train their crews in aspects of customer service. As it is we got customer dis-service. We also suggest that Men in Kilts package their services an a manner that doesn't make everything yet-another-service at yet-another-$100+ charge. Also, don't send salesmen to do the work. I highly recommend that anyone thinking of using Men in Kilts think twice and then call another service. Also, with any service ask what cleaning products will be used. There's a very good chance you can do the job just as well without the expense and frustration of getting a third rate job for a first rate price.
