Good rebate program happening, so I decided to replace my 33-year-old original furnace while I had the luxury of shopping around and researching options. Fred was patient while I got three quotes that inspired more questions. Unlike the others, he customized my quote to include/exclude non-essentials that fit within my budget. On the rebate deadline date, he came to my workplace to finalize the "investment". I appreciated his steady, but not pressured approach, and his knowledge, having been an installer technician. The installers came on time, were highly professional and went above and beyond to help, inform, and clean up. Customer service from administrative staff also expert and efficient. They submitted warranty and rebate paperwork. Highly recommended. Here's a funny story: a salesman from Company X franchise warned against dealing locally because of "lower standards" - he produced newspaper article citing convict who served his time on weekends so he could maintain his furnace installation job. When I asked about Mackay's employees' bondability (not mentioning Company X or the article), Peter said they have had only one employee who wasn't bondable and he no longer works for them. He ended up at Company X. Mackay was recommended to me by an acquaintance who works for Enbridge. I'm glad he did!

This was really exciting for myself , one of the owners, to read that you noticed the support team at the office at Mackays, where our great caring, awesome, supportive, dedicated, loyal, loving work family that man phones, take care of invoicing, scheduling the techs all over niagara region, making call backs for service and taking on that schedule, then on top of that, a bonus....a company that calls you to remind you need your furnace, air or hot water, needs some maintenance and a thorough check up!!!!I can tell you that Pete would have been great at customizing because he is very thorough, and particular, and a perfectionist for sure. He is a fully licensed senior technician, mechanic himself. He has done the work, and then taught many, and of course because of his dedication, knowledge, workman ship, talent, and care was interested in quoting the equipment the right way, not some sales package of a guess work, from those that sell and have never done the work themselves, but have some sort of sizing something...i guess....Hence, exciting we added Fred to the sales side of things, more our estimators. They are truly dedicated and they truly know what and how they can make your home, perfect for you situation and many other things , the regular sales guy is not technically able to know about. So, thank you for that recognition. that is exciting. Finally, the clean up of the install and the care they take???? we love that about them so much and it gets noticed every time.
