We searched the internet for staircase carpeting and found "Love Your Stairs. We called and spoke to the owner who arranged a prompt personal visit to show carpet samples and give us a written estimate. He showed us numerous options and we selected our preference that was a thick grey herring-bone that brightened up our previously drab grey carpeting. We set up appointments for precise measurement by the head of the installation team and an installation date. The installers appeared as scheduled, and interestingly, had perfectly measured carpet pieces for each of the 26 stairs. They removed the old carpet and under padding, and cleaned the bare staircases before installing the new padding and carpet. They thoroughly cleaned up after the carpet installation. They were polite and did a great job, especially with the side-piping on the carpet. In short, we had a very positive experience with "Love Your Stairs." If we were to need carpeting in future, we would definitely contact them again. Our selection was distinctive and refreshing and enhanced the entrance to our home.

We had a leak from the ceiling in our dinette last summer. Avenue Road Roofing (ARR) replaced the shingled overhang above our dining area. A few days ago in response to a heavy and windy rainfall, we experienced the same leak. ARR was contacted and responded promptly. K.T. tested the new roof for leaks but none were found. He then tested the window above the roof and the leak re-appeared. He dried the caulking and re-caulked the entire window base. I expected and offered to pay for the service call but under the circumstances he refused payment for the service call, labor and materials. He was very professional, courteous and personable. We made the correct choice in opting for ARR.
