Lily in North york

I went into 4U furniture about a month ago to look around. Marley, the sales person, seemed nice at the time and convinced me to buy a L shaped sofa ($1899) for my apartment. We decided that I would pick it up myself and she excluded the tax. A week later, I went back and purchased another dining table and 4 chairs ($895). First of all, she wrote down my phone number wrong and kept telling me that I was impossible to get a hold of. Then, I told her my moving date, time, and even wrote it down on the order form. The day of my move, August 10th, I spent over $100 renting a U-Haul and had 2 friends take a day off to move from North York to downtown Toronto. We arrived at 4U to pick up the puchases and she said, "You're not suppose to be here until tomorrow. It's not the 10th yet!" How can someone who is in charge of the store get the day of pick up/delivery wrong?! THEN, we decided that she would ship it to me, free of charge the following day (TODAY). I wrote down an approximate time on the sheet, 3pm and said I would call her later. I finished my move, confirmed the loading elevator time, and CALLED HER to tell her to change the time to 2PM! She said, "OK, 2pm, we'll be there right on time" TODAY, I called her around 12:30/1pm to confirm and she said to me, "2pm? No, you wrote down 3pm. I told the guy 3pm" RUDELY! So I waited until 2:50pm, didn't hear from anyone. Called her to ask the status of the driver and she said she would call me back right away. 20 min later, I called her and she said, "I'll call you back in 5 mins" AND HUNG UP! Another 15 minutes later, I received a call from the driver and he said that he would be there at 4:30PM!!!! 4:30!! when I made an appointment for 2pm!! Marley KNEW I work out of town and that I came in just to get her delivery which SHE SCREWED UP!! I talked to the driver today and he said he would delivery everything next week by 9:30am. If it doesn't get here in time or if the order is scratched or wrong, I BETTER GET MY MONEY BACK!!! NEVER GO TO 4U FURNITURE! THAT PLACE IS TOTALLY DISORGANIZED AND GIVES EVERY INDEPENDENT FURNITURE STORE A BAD REPUTATION!!
