Found I had a leaking HW tank on Wednesday night. After some research and some calls decided on HeatWorks. Called and spoke with Tyler on Thursday who did a preliminary assessment over the phone and arranged for a 9am appointment the next day (Friday). Friday at 9am Tyler arrived with everything ready to go. Got right to work assessing the tank and connections and explained what he needed to do clearly. A few hours later I had a new tank and hot water. It was a warranty replacement, but at no point was there any pressure to buy another brand or a push to upgrade. I mentioned an issue with a previous furnace install (another company) where the air supply for the burner is drawing from the room rather than outside. Tyler asked if I would like a quote to put in a supply and It was very reasonable so I accepted. He stayed for another hour and a bit to install it and now the utility room isn't as cold (proper supply and venting). He also discovered that the exhaust from the furnace had not been properly installed (partially unglued and missing fire-proof caulking). He fixed it. Didn't question whether it should be fixed and didn't ask for extra to do it. All of this without leaving (he came prepared) and didn't take a break. Short version:Replaced the HW tank. Did it well. Fixed issues with someone else's work. Installed an additional request. Worked hard. Next time I have a plumbing issue or project, I will be calling HeatWorks.
