I had written an earlier review about the paving disappointment I have with an unacceptable patch job where an acorn popped thru and noticing other spots where safe to assume the paving was put on too thin. Now are a couple of 2 short years the concrete curbs are flaking apart. I emailed Stone Ridge and as per their record never heard back. It disappointing you put so much money into what you hope would be an enhancement on the looks of your home only too come away disappointed. I would not recommend using this coming for any of your paving, concrete or interlocking work … you too will be disappointed.

We contracted Stine Ridge to pave our driveway as well do concrete curbs and a concrete entrance. The work was done in Aug2015. The day after the paving was done we noticed something was popping up through and creating a bubble and opening. We contacted them right away and was told they will look at it next time in the area. We waited a month with no signs or word from them and contacted them again. They replied "we told you we will be around when we do the driveways undone on your street"... oh ok. So we waited and waited and I watched for the driveways up the street to get done. End of October I noticed the driveways up the street were done but still no signs of Stone Ridge. I contacted them again and they said the boss is away and will look at it after his holidays. Mid Nov I got a reply the repair was done as there was an acorn in the asphalt that caused it. As I look at my driveway and the repair done I'm so disappointed in the workmanship on the repair and the time it took for them to do anything about something we told them about in Aug and the day after they did the work. I thought I paid a reasonable price for what I was hoping would be a nice looking driveway. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Company Response

I am terribly sorry that you had to wait until November but our season was very busy but we never lost site of your repair. In November we sent a labourer to repair the issue and according to your homestar review it seems that you are still unhappy. Our labourer advised us that it was an acorn and unfortunately all small items on the driveway cannot be detected before paving. Your driveway had leaves and acorns and we tried our best to clean it up. As our company is closed for the season please be advised that we will take care of your issue when we reopen. Feel free to contact us around May 2016.
