Chris O'Leary and Koru construction did several projects for us. Koru was referred to me by a friend who "guaranteed " we would be satisfied - we were - they are a talented, hard working bunch. The projects (two bathrooms and some cedar siding replacement) were done quickly and proceeded smoothly- without long delays. For 15 years I knew the east wall of of my house was sketchy. 35 year old cedar that had been patched once ten years ago. The wall is 40 feet high, 50 wide, the ground below uneven,muddy, and covered in underbrush. I knew it would be expensive and ugly - the project from hell. I phoned Siding Vancouver because a few years back they had easily and reasonably done a fascia replacement for me - extremely high and heavy - long, 2 X 12 x 20 fascia which covers all of our gutters and downpipes - a ridiculously difficult job that they did for a ridiculously reasonable price - so maybe they could also tackle the project from hell. Stefan recommended replacing the siding with Hardy board instead of cedar and we negotiated what I considered an outstanding price. When the wall was removed however, it was clear, as I suspected, that there was more rot to be addressed than first thought. I knew the agreed upon price was low and we easily negotiated an increased price - still a great deal for the work done. Stefan's open, honest manner makes him easy to deal with. The crew was dependable and hard working, clearly as pleased and proud of the company as were Stefan and Chris, the owners. From beginning to end the project was easily and professionally negotiated and completed. If you have a siding project from hell ,or anything to do with siding or fascia, I recommend siding Vancouver unequivocally. Thanks guys - great job!
