Mike in Ottawa

I hadn't read any reviews about Mike when I decided to hire him. The information on his website and the amount of time he spent with me on our first call was more than enough to convince me that he was the right person for the job. Reading through the other reviews on this site I can tell you that they are 100% accurate and Mike truly deserves a perfect 10. I first found Mike though a Google search. I gave him a call expecting to get an answering machine and a callback, but nope... he picked up the phone and spent at least 20 minutes answering my questions. He didn't seem at all concerned with the amount of time he was spending with me. I was blown away. The job was to ultimately install a new gas range. However, it was a high power unit which involved up-sizing existing gas lines, running new gas lines through hard to reach places, and dealing with more stringent rules and regulations regarding the clearances to combustible materials. Long story short, this is why Mike deserves a perfect 10. 1). Every time I called he picked up the phone (he was was also very prompt in replying to email) 2). He was always friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with 3). He was very knowledgeable about code requirements and best practices 4). He was aware of various products on the market and was able to choose and install the best products for the particular situation 5). He helped plan out the entire installation to be sure it would be successful 6). He was always punctual when arriving at my home and would always call when he was on his way 7). His workmanship was excellent - I can't imagine anyone doing a better job 8). He was very tidy and respectful of our home 9). He was honest about everything every step of the way 10). The quoted price was the final price despite a lot of extra effort and care I would definitely recommend Mike to family and friends. He exceeded my expectations and simply went above and beyond in every way. Thanks Mike!
