Crew came onsite. I asked for a quote for specific work. I was given a quote for the work to which I agreed to (no other terms and conditions were given). 1) I got invoiced an extra amount for extra time that it "apparently" took to complete the work; and 2) Part of the work was unsatisfactory. I called their customer service and complained that there was no indication given that extra effort would incur extra cost and that I was unhappy with the work. I heard from someone who indicated that the crew simply took more time to complete the work and encountered difficulties for which I should have been quoted an hourly rate. How is this my fault? I agreed to a quote which I am more than happy to pay for AS LONG AS THE WORK COMPLETED IS SATISFACTORY. Had I gotten an honest and realistic quote, I would have had the option to decline the work. Beware. Ask questions about their definition and scope of the work, what happens if they take longer and what fees are associated with extra work. Sadly and for the above reasons, I cannot recommend this contractor.
