We have an old electronic air filter on our furnace. It doesn't work well and we wanted to replace it with a conventional filter slot. We decided to get some estimates, one guy came by and said $400 cash and another $500. Then Brian calls from Metropolitan asks me about the electronic air filter and tells me that the standard 5" filters from any store will fit in the filter box. No need to replace it. He could have sold me a repair but didn't. I love that kind of honestly in a contractor.
