I was fairly dissatisfied with Acme Home Inspection. I felt they did not do the thorough or full inspection that was needed and expected in the house. For example they did not check the ceiling, dry wall, or the water pressure. I got the house inspection prior to moving into the house and only found some of the issues after I had moved into my new place. A major issue was with the water, as when you open the capsule there isn't much pressure. This is a problem in pretty much half of the house (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, main kitchen, basement kitchen). I believe that sort of thing should have been covered during their inspection. Despite the problems I encountered with this company I found the company to be clean, neat, and on time.

Company Response

Hi Davinder, I'm sadden and sorry to here your dissatisfaction. Dec of 2014. During the inspection, I test every faucet for functionality and observe the pressure. During the time of the inspection the faucets were normal and photos as documented in the report shows the same. Unfortunately, testing every faucet at the same time and running the toilets and laundry is not realistic for a Home Inspection. If having multiple families and in your case two rental suites in the home this could occur. Also, you may want to try cleaning the aerators of the faucets (screen where water leaves the faucet that usually twists off to catch debris) this is also a reason faucets can appear low pressure.

Ceilings were also visually inspected and in the report stated and photographed of the ceiling stain. Patches in the laundry ceiling room were discussed during the walk through as well.

Davinder, I try my best at every inspection and as an Inspector it is not realistic to spot every detail in a home.

I sincerely wish you the best and I'm always around if you have a question.
