Doing business with this company has been a significant disappointment to me. I hired this company to paint my entire house prior to my moving in, including trim and doors. There were multiple problems during the work time, including forgetting to paint second coats on the kitchen wall, leaving drips on the kitchen bulkhead, failure to finish painting over the old paint on the kitchen bulkhead, splashing trim paint on the new floors and poor quality paint or prep work that has left me with paint that PEELS off with the slightest bump or scrape. In addition, the company only put one coat of paint on my basement walls, failing to cover the original dark green, claiming the lighting was bad, so they did not know. As a result, I have had to purchase more paint and am repainting the entire basement myself. The last and final insult has come when despite the contract saying that they would donate 10% of their profits to the charity of my choice, and despite several emails with Scott saying he would send a cheque, my charity has never received the promised donation. Shame on this company for poor workmanship and for not keeping their word.

I am terribly sorry you had a bad experience with us Kelly. However, I am most disappointed that I had to learn of your dissatisfaction here on a review. In all the communication we had you never mentioned any of these issues. I apologize it took us a bit of time to send a cheque to the charity of your choice but we did send one as promised. The issues you address are truly not acceptable and do not represent our usual work as can been seen from the rest of the reviews here on Homestars. Again, I apologize that we did not leave you completely satisfied and wish you the best in the future.
